Snake venom phospholipase A2 (PLA2) that displays edema-inducing activities, as well as presynaptic neurotoxicity and low myotoxicity. PLA2 catalyzes the calcium-dependent hydrolysis of the 2-acyl groups in 3-sn-phosphoglycerides.
