Involved in diterpene (C20) olefins biosynthesis. Bifunctional enzyme that catalyzes two sequential cyclizations of geranylgeranyl diphosphate (GGPP) to levopimaradiene. Levopimaradiene is the major products of the enzyme followed by abietadiene, neoabietadiene and palustradiene.
