This magnesium-dependent enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium from the cytosol to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen. Also regulates manganese ion homeostasis by pumping it into endomembrane compartments. Can also transport zinc.
