Developmental stagei
Detected in axillary mersitems which appears in the axils of leaves after flowering. During bud vegetative development, down-regulated in the outer layers of the meristem, but accumulates transiently in young leaf primordia. In buds bearing flowers, restricted to the provascular tissue underlying the bud. Accumulates in axillary buds, but disappears at the time of bud outgrowth.1 Publication

Induced during environmentally induced bud dormancy (planting density). Repressed transiently after shoot apical meristem (SAM) decapitation (release from apical dominance).1 Publication
