Defects in CSMD1 may be a cause of oral and oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinomas (OSCCs). Ref.6 and Ref.7 are however in disagreement: while Ref.7 considers CSMD1 as a strong candidate for OSCCs, Ref.6 thinks it is not.
