[Val1,Thr6]-bradykinin: Induces contraction of rat ileum smooth muscle (EC(50)=2.73 µM) but has no activity towards smooth muscle from tail artery, urinary bladder or uterus up to concentrations of 100 µM. Binds to both bradykinin receptor B1 (BDKRB1) and B2 (BDKRB2); the effect via BDKRB1 is stronger.1 Publication
