This protein is few amino acids shorter in its N-terminus than to all other tenuiviruses. It has been described as N-acetylated unlike all other negative stranded virus nucleoproteins. Since no genome sequence is available for this virus, the N-acetylmethionine may be an artifact of protein sequencing.Curated
