Functioni

Induces angiogenesis, probably through VEGF receptor (KDR/VEGFR-2) signaling, as well as drastic hypotension. The hypotension is mediated by nitric oxide (NO), which is produced by VEGF-activated endothelium NO synthase. May also induce capillary permeability.
