Function

Required for the assembly or recycling of the small Tim proteins in the mitochondrial intermembrane, thereby participating in the import and insertion of multi-pass transmembrane proteins into the mitochondrial inner membrane. Probably acts by facilitating the formation of disulfide bonds in small Tim proteins. Ref.4
