General annotation (Comments)

Function

It is required for meiosis I chromosome division during sporulation. A component of the FEAR (CDC14 early anaphase release) network which promotes CDC14 release from the nucleolus during early anaphase. Ref.4

Miscellaneous

Its negative tail is functionally important.

Present with 937 molecules/cell in log phase SD medium. Ref.5
