Functioni

Phosphorylates dGMP, dTMP and 5-hydroxymethyl-dCMP while excluding dCMP and dAMP. The phosphorylation of 5-hydroxymethyl-dCMP represents the first step in the replacement of cytosine by hydroxymethylcytosine in new viral DNA genomes.1 Publication
