Pan proteomei This proteome is part of the Bacillus anthracis Ames ancestor pan proteome (fasta)

Bacillus anthracis is an endospore-forming bacterium that causes inhalational anthrax. During the course of the disease, endospores are taken up by alveolar macrophages where they germinate in phagolysosomal compartment. Vegetative cells then escape from the macrophage, eventually infecting blood.
