Mass spectrometry

This subsection of the ‘General annotation (Comments)’ section reports information derived from mass spectrometry experiments done on the entire protein or on biologically active derived peptide(s).
The following information items are provided:
- molecular weight (mass) (in Daltons);
- ionization method used;
- estimated mass error (in Daltons), if known;
- boundaries of the analysed peptide. If a protein is cleaved into multiple products, the name of the relevant peptide or protein is added;
- link to the corresponding publication.
Additional information, if available, is provided to complement the above information items.

We do not provide mass spectrometry information for digested peptides.
