How do I get notified automatically of updates to UniProtKB?

Subscribing to RSS feeds allows you to receive the latest news about UniProtKB and to keep track of updates to individual UniProtKB entries. You can subscribe to a page whenever you see the RSS feed icon .

Tracking updates to an individual UniProtKB entry:

from the entry page, click the rss icon
subscribe to the feed: some browsers like firefox will let you choose between creating a live bookmark and using a feed reader
if you use a feed reader, copy the address of the feed, for example http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P05067.rss?version=* and paste this address into your reader

You will receive a message whenever there is a new version of the entry, with a link to a page showing where the entry was modified compared to the previous version.
