What journal abbreviations are used in UniProtKB?

The document jourlist.txt contains this information (and more) for all journals cited in UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot.

The journal abbreviation used in UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot are those proposed by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and generally correspond to those used by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) in PubMed.

UniProtKB/TrEMBL can contain additional journals for which there is no controlled vocabulary for their abbreviation yet.
